I have a confession. . .

My only pair of running shoes are 18 months old and have about 1,500 miles.

My feet are a full size difference. My left foot is a 7.5 and my right foot is a 6.5. I've come to the point where I know I cannot wear one size. I've been wearing an 8 (generally, running shoes are a half-size larger), but the right shoe is just too big. So, I have choices: the problems that come with running in a shoe that is far too big, buying two pairs of shoes and wearing only one of each, or getting custom shoes from Nike (which is not my preferred brand for running shoes).

In my decision-making debate, a year-and-a-half has come and gone.

It is time.

I am ordering the custom shoes from Nike.
